I would like to take this opportunity to express sincere thanks on behalf of Herts Careers Services and Youth Connexions - Hertfordshire for your support in hosting a talk for the Connexions personal Advisors on Thursday 23rd July 2009. The presentation provided the Personal Advisors with an opportunity to gain an invaluable, first hand insight into the industry and occupations within the Multimedia sector.
The feedback from those who attended the visit has been very positive, and everyone I have spoken to valued the opportunity and gained up-to-date information on the current labour market, which they can now take back and advise young people in school and the Community. The visits are vitally important in getting across the message about the skills shortages and in promoting the need for more collaborative working with employers to ensure that young people are receiving appropriate and current information about career choices.
We would very much like your thoughts on how the visits went and what could be done to improve for next year.
Many thanks for your hard work and commitment in hosting the visit and I look forward to working with you in the future.

HCS would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to you and Trevor for your commitment and support in hosting a three day workshop for students at Hertford Regional College studying the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Media studies on 27th February, 3rd and 4th March 2009.
The feedback from the students was extremely positive, indicating how much they enjoyed the workshops and appreciated the efforts you invested in organising the programme. Other comments related to the quality of the workshops provided and the valuable nature of the advice given.
Once again, many thanks for the time, energy and commitment in putting the three days together and your enthusiasm for working with the students. This experience in the workplace has given the students a true reflection of what goes on in business and the opportunity to gain the knowledge to enhance their learning.
I hope that we can look forward to working with you again in the future.

Bedfordshire County Council were pleased to grant acceptance of a tender proposal to address the needs of adults with learning disabilities (ALD) using the techniques of multimedia. The contract was granted in March 2006 and runs until December 2007, using a partnership of Information Highway Assistance Ltd, already known for their ability to work successfully with ALD's, coupled with the technical expertise of Yakkety-Yak Multimedia Company, who also have good experience of dealing with disabled clients. The project consisted of allowing six ALD's to star and film themselves in four short episodes based around their living experiences. This will be followed by a compilation of these four events.
We are extremely satisfied with the outcomes of this project that gives another dimension to the lives of those needing our support in engaging with the world of work and learning. The expertise of Yakkety-Yak is undoubted.
